Alanya is a truly modern town situated on the south western coast of Turkey approximately two hours drive from Antalya, however there is an airport in planning which will be only 45 minutes away.

The town of Alanya is concentrated around the old harbour where you will find lively bars and restaurants, most of which stay open all year round.

On either side of the castle there are long stretches of sandy beaches.

For those interested in history, a visit to the Archaeology and Ethnography Museum is a must, or for a more relaxing day take a boat trip or just relax on one of the blue flag beaches.
