Work on Altinkum's Seafront continues......
ALTINKUM’S main promenade has been started and is set to give the resort the 'WOW' factor the work is due to be complete by the start of the 2012 season.
And what a transformation.................
Mayor Mumin Kamaci confirmed that the project would be completed by the end of April and the work is really coming along now, the new front will cost just short of 1 million Pound, so this is great news for the resort.
Local Mayor, Mümin Kamaci announced plans to landscape Altinkum promenade the local press a few last years. Watch out on billboards around the town for more updates.
He said: “We intend to start working as of November 1st as the draft project is ready and now we are discussing the final state.
The new look promenade will be more modern and up market and will include sitting areas, sidewalks, green areas and lighting. This is only the start of a revamp for the town.
This is all part of a plan to increase tourism in the area.
Yet again this will help boost property prices in the region which still proves to be a safe haven for property purchases and investments.
The promenade re-design will be seen as a big attraction for tourists, particularly those coming in from cruise ships off the coast. We will post pictures onto our facebook - Turkish Connextions - when the work is in progress.
