Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrives to Open Didim Marina

Just another sign of the vast investment pledged by the current Government into the Turkish Tourism Industry, in this small town destined to become a much larger resort in years to come.

Marina set to open, now Golf Course gets green light! its time to buy!!!

Way back in 2003 Didim (Altinkum) was declared a Tourism City, by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in Turkey. They announced that they would develop a Marina, Golf Course and Accomodation facilities, theme parks and activity areas.

The first leg of this project is now nearing completion and the 450 berth Marina will be opening in June 2009. Many people visiting this area who have seen the project growing have commented on the size of this Marina, and once operating will be the largest on the Aegean Coast.

Now the 18 Hole Golf Course has the green light for commencement in 2010 with a completion date of 2012. Atlas, a Turkish steel and shipping company is developing the golf course and residential village on a 170 acre site clos to the Aegean Resort which is a popular destination for the british package industry.

The marina and golf course is expected to increase demand for higher end property and also in time extend the holiday season into the winter months to cater for the Golf enthusiast
