Turkey well equiped to overcome current financial climate
World Bank officials say turkey is well equiped to overcome the current financial crisis. Turkey has changed from being a "borrowing nation" to becoming a "donor nation".
Speaking recently the vice president of the World Bank confirmed Turkey's standing. The next annual meeting of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund will take place in Istanbul on October the 6th,the Country is very important for numerous reasons, it has an emerging economy, a member of the G8, and also the national security council.
Turkey last hosted such a meeting way back in 1955, and somewhere in the region of 13,000 participants for around 185 member countries are expected to attend.
Turkey is expected to play a key role in the global economy, the country has achieved very high growth and has extensive ties with both developing and developed world, role to be continued for many years to come.
The turkish economy is based on sound economic measures and remains in a good position .
