During my visit to A Place In The Sun Live in Birmingham in October 2008 I was so convinced that I had found my perfect holiday home that I paid the deposit in the property in Altinkum, Turkey without seeing it first.

When the unthinkable happens

We bought our apartment in 2006 from Turkish Connextions and even still we are able to contact them for advice and help, and on this occassion their help was invaluable to us at a most harrowing time.

We went to Altinkum on a viewing visit with Turkish Connextions last June and found the perfect property for us. We left a deposit and over a few months paid the rest of the money. In March this year Jayne collected the deeds for us and we are now in possession of our own home in Turkey.
