Romain De Lisle, 44 from Surrey, contacted Amanda Lamb,"A Place in the Sun" to see if she could help in the search for his ideal holiday home. Romain was then featured in the Property Hunt feature in the December issue of Place in the Sun.

Romain De Lisle, 44, from Surrey recently decided to invest in Turkish property. He was looking for a holiday home or villa in the Aegean coast , with excellent facilities amenities and preferably a communal swimming pool. He was hoping to buy a new build or off plan development but was struggling with finding a suitable build to fit his brief.
After an unsuccessful attempt to a buy property from developers, Romain contacted Amanda Lamb to see if she could help in the search for his ideal holiday home. Romain was then featured in the Property Hunt feature in the December issue of Place in the Sun. After viewing three different properties, Romain was most impressed with a property shown by Preston based housing specialists – Turkish Connextions.
He then contacted Jayne Schofield, Managing Director at Turkish Connextions after looking at their website due to his initial interest in their properties. After several emails and conversations, Romain flew out to Turkey with his girlfriend in January 2010 to meet Jayne. Romain was extremely pleased with the properties shown to him by Turkish Connextions and immediately decided to purchase a property from Jayne.
Romain purchased a property called Beachfront Residence, in Altinkum . The property is overlooking one of the lovely blue-flag sandy beaches.

He has purchased a Duplex apartment off plan, which is spread over two floors, with stunning sea views. The property has three bedrooms and large lounge two bathrooms and lovely sun terrace, which was part of his initial brief with Place in the Sun. Through the winter months Romain was sent regular updates and photographs concerning the progress of the build from the team at Turkish Connextions.

Romain visited the property in August for the 2nd time and was thrilled with the progress; he had nothing but praise for Turkish Connextions and the work that was being done. The property is due to be finished early next year and will come with fitted bathrooms and kitchen wall and base units. As part of the aftercare service provided by Turkish Connextions, they will take Romain to all the relevant furniture shops to help him fully complete and furnish his home.

Romain has only been out to Altinkum twice since he decided to purchase the property. His second visit was August this year and he is very pleased with the progress so far. Romain had visited Turkey before, this was one of the main reasons he chose to invest there. He particularly liked the culture and the attitude in Turkey – alongside the weather and the beaches. He felt Altinkum provided the perfect destination for his holiday home, as it was great value for money and also had the right ‘family atmosphere’. With the help of Place in the Sun he decided Altinkum was the ideal location and Turkish Connextions was the correct company to go with.

As the property is off plan Romain is paying in stage. Also during the summer months building in turkey stops due to Government regulations; so building on this property won’t start again till mid October at the earliest completion is Mid April 2011.
