Following almost a year of searching for a property in Turkey via the Internet, my wife and I were very fortunate to have met Jayne from Turkish Connextions at a property exhibition at the G Mex Centre in Manchester.

Only a few weeks after meeting with her and checking out her website we were on a plane to Turkey on an inspection trip. Even at this early stage we both felt that we could trust her.

When we arrived we were met by Jayne and her Turkish partner Izzy at the airport. We spent 4 days/nights looking around property within our budget in the Altinkum area and at no time did we feel pressurised or intimated into buying.

There are many, many "Estate Agents" in Turkey who advertise very appealing brochures and offers that seem almost too good to be true. If they sound too good to be true they most probably are! Also, these agents are in many cases unlicensed and are not regulated, so be very careful.

We found our dream apartment during our short visit to Altinkum and found that we got much more for our money than we had anticipated. Jayne and Izzy arranged for us to meet with the builder, we agreed a price and signed a contract. It felt a little scary, but very very exciting. We were told that the building would be completed by end June 06.

We returned to the Uk and organised finance. We kept in touch by telephone/e-mail with Jayne and her Uk office for updates and photographs on the progress of the building and purchase. The staff at Turkish Connextions office in the Uk was very helpful and extremely friendly. Any queries we had, they were able to sort in Jayne's absence, as Jayne spends much of the year in Turkey.

We have recently been back to Altinkum to purchase furniture for our new apartment and once again Jayne and Izzy were on hand to offer guidance and help. We bought: beds, wardrobes, pool furniture, lounge furniture etc. The shops will hold the furniture for us until the apartment is finished and then Jayne and Izzy will arrange for it all to be delivered before we return to Turkey, to stay in our apartment in October 06.

We can't praise Turkish Connextions enough for the help and support we have received pre-purchase and for after sales service. Jayne and Izzy are very genuine and both myself and my wife would have no hesitation in recommending them.
