SunExpress offering flights to Turkey summer 2022 from five UK Airports

SunExpress is expanding its UK network by connecting five Airports in the UK offering flights to Turkey this coming Summer. Airports involved in this venture are Manchester, Gatwick, Birmingham and Edinburgh along with its already existing Luton services.  

Flights will be heading to Antalya, Dalaman, Izmir, Ankara and Gaziantep. There is said to be up to seven direct flights weekly priced from £59.   

SunExpress will be operating flights to Antalya from all five UK Airports, flights to Dalaman will operate from Gatwick and Manchester Airports, while Luton Airport will be operating flights to Izmir, Ankara and Gaziantep.  

The commercial director of SunExpress Peter Glade has said “Travellers from our five airports are longing for well-deserved vacations in the sun at a great price point. We are very pleased to offer attractive and direct connections to the most beautiful destinations in Turkey again in the coming season.”

This Summer we will see Edinburgh Airport gaining a new route to Turkey. The Airport will be operating flights to Antayla twice a week starting from 2nd April.

The Edinburgh Airport Aviation Director Kate Sherry has said “We are excited to be bringing a new airline to Edinburgh and offering more choice to passengers looking to take a well-earned holiday.Turkey is one of the most requested destinations from our customers looking to get some sunshine and this will increase Scotland’s connectivity in a sustainable fashion thanks to SunExpress’ modern fleet of aircraft.”
